SOLUZIONE PER GLI SPAZI ANGUSTI
Un
palazzo nel centro storico di Roma svela questa piccola abitazione che,
completamente ristrutturata e trasformata secondo le esigenze della
persona che la abita, diventa una dimora gradevole e funzionale. Il
progetto di ristrutturazione ha come fulcro il bancone a vista che si
pone come perno tra il corridoio-ingresso, sul quale si apre la camera
da letto, e la zona soggiorno-pranzo da cui, tramite un arco, si accede
alla cucina. La separazione tra i vari ambienti che fisicamente
costituiscono un unicum viene ottenuta grazie ad un sottile equilibrio
tra pavimentazioni, controsoffittature ed illuminazione. Un ruolo
importante va attribuito ai materiali utilizzati tra i quali spicca il
ciliegio scelto per i mobili della cucina e del soggiorno. Questi
arredi, sono stati realizzati su misura per inventare soluzioni ottimali
e rendere particolare lo spazio rettangolare originario, il cui
principale pregio risiedeva nelle due grandi finestre dalle quali si
gode di una splendida vista sull'area dei Fori Imperiali.
A SOLUTION FOR NARROW SPACES
A building in the centre of the town of Rome reveals a
little house which, completely transformed in accordance with the wishes
of the new mistress, has become a pleasant and functional residence. The
whole project turns on the bar which hinges on the hall-passage where
the door to the bedroom opens and the living-room from which, throught
an arch, you can go into the kitchen. The balance between the flooring,
the different heights of the false ceiling and the lighting mark the
boundary of the different parts of the house. An important aspect must
be attributed to the choise of the materials: cherry-wood, used to made
the forniture of the kitchen and the living-room, stands out from the
others for the warm tonality of its colour. These furnishings are made
to measure to invent the best solution and to characterize the original
rectangular space, the potentiality of which was the magnificent view
you can get over the Imperial Fora from the two big windows.
